Platinum Dermatology Partners in Santa Barbara, CA is seeking a friendly front desk Associate to join our dermatology clinic. The role supports patient check-in/out, handles scheduling, and enters medical histories and prescriptions into the EMR.

The position is full-time, hourly, with benefits including medical, dental, vision, 401(k), and paid time off. Candidates should have 2–3 years front desk experience in a medical office; dermatology experience preferred; valid driver's license required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2–3 years front desk experience in a medical office/clinic.
• Dermatology or cosmetic experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Experience with medical insurance verification.
• Knowledgeable of medical dermatology terms (CPT, ICD-10).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Fulfill responsibilities as assigned by management.
• Extend friendly and welcoming greetings.
• Ensure paperwork and EMR systems are current and correctly filled out.
• Enter medical histories and prescriptions into EMR.
• Educate patients and respond to questions in the office or on the phone.
• Schedule patients for new, returning, and follow-up appointments.
