Job summary

One Medical is seeking a Laboratory Services Specialist / Member Support Specialist to deliver exceptional patient experiences through venipuncture and clinical support, both in-office and virtually when needed. You will be the first point of contact, maintain a welcoming lobby, and ensure smooth patient flow in collaboration with providers.

You will uphold C-I-CARE principles, handle scheduling, billing inquiries, and digital tools like EMR, Slack, G-suite, Zoom, and more.

Qualifications

• Venipuncture and clinical support experience.
• Strong verbal and written communication with patients.
• Ability to work well in a team and handle front desk duties.
• Comfort with using IT tools and patient data.

Responsibilities

• Deliver patient interactions with C-I-CARE framework and manage patient intake and scheduling.
• Provide venipuncture services across age groups.
• Perform extended duties such as non-blood collection, EKGs/ECGs, and vitals.
• Maintain specimen labeling, handling, inventory and sterilization.
• Respond to patient messages and assist with lab cases and billing inquiries.
• Front of house duties: check in/out, insurance verification, prep tests.
• Support team through huddles and problem solving in-office.
• Open/close duties and daily office upkeep, restocking supplies.
• Master EMR, Slack, G-suite, Zoom to complete daily tasks.
