Job summary

One Medical seeks a Medical Assistant (Lab Services Specialist / Member Support Specialist) for our Hanover, NH office. You will deliver venipuncture and clinical support, act as the first point of contact for patients, and help with front desk and administrative tasks to ensure a smooth patient experience.

You will work with a team using EMR and collaboration tools, providing compassionate, patient-centered care consistent with the One Medical brand.

Qualifications

• 6 months of relevant medical assisting or phlebotomy experience.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• High school diploma or equivalent; tech-savvy with multiple software systems.
• Team-oriented with ability to collaborate across front desk and lab teams.
• Experience with EMR and scheduling workflows is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide venipuncture and clinical support in-office.
• Manage patient intake, scheduling, and follow-up as directed by leadership.
• Handle front desk tasks, insurance verification, and billing inquiries.
• Maintain specimen labeling, handling, and inventory with cleanliness and safety.
• Communicate clearly with patients and teammates, supporting providers and virtual teams.
