Job summary

One Medical is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant (Lab Services Specialist/Member Support Specialist) for our Darien, CT office. You will perform venipuncture, support the patient care journey, and be the first point of contact for patients while assisting with front desk duties and lab tasks.

You will use your clinical skills and strong communication to ensure a seamless in-office experience and act as a steward of the space, maintaining brand standards.

Qualifications

• Active Medical Assistant certification from NHA, AAMA, NCCT, or AMT.
• Postsecondary Medical Assistant program accredited by CAAHEP/ABHES or equivalent OR armed forces MA training.
• At least 6 months of MA or phlebotomy experience outside of training/externship.
• Strong customer service skills and ability to build customer relationships.

Responsibilities

• Perform venipuncture and clinical support tasks as assigned by providers.
• Support patient intake, scheduling, and billing inquiries.
• Maintain high standards of specimen labeling, handling and processing.
• Answer patient messages and assist with clerical duties for providers.
