Job summary

One Medical is seeking a Lab Services Specialist/ Member Support Specialist Trainee in Boston, MA. No phlebotomy experience is required as full training is provided, including venipuncture and clinical support services to patients.

You will be the first point of contact, support office operations, and collaborate with the team to remove barriers to care, while learning through structured training and hands-on practice.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year in high-touch customer or patient-facing roles.
• Strong customer service and ability to build relationships.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Proficiency with computers and multiple software systems.
• Experience collaborating in diverse, multidisciplinary teams.
• Ability to deliver patient-centered care with empathy.

Responsibilities

• Use C-I-CARE framework in patient interactions and manage in-office flow.
• Handle front desk duties: check in/out, insurance verification, paperwork.
• Support team development through rounding and huddles.
• Master Slack, G Suite, Zoom, and 1Life EMR for daily tasks.
• Perform opening/closing duties and maintain office spaces.
• Complete required clinical training and certifications within six months.
• Willingness to obtain BLS within 60 days.
