Premier Orthopaedics, in partnership with Philadelphia Hand to Shoulder, seeks a dedicated Patient Service Representative for our Exton, PA office. You will greet patients, check-in/out, verify insurance, schedule appointments, and collect payments, while maintaining accuracy and HIPAA compliance in all interactions.

This full-time, on-site role offers a friendly, patient-focused environment with opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent working knowledge preferred.
• 1–2 years of patient registration or front office experience in healthcare.
• Experience with insurance rules, medical terminology, and EMR systems.
• Knowledge of HIPAA guidelines and professional communication with staff and patients.

Responsabilités

• Greet and acknowledge patients, manage check-in/check-out.
• Answer incoming calls and relay messages as needed.
• Assist patients with completing medical history and required forms.
• Collect demographic and insurance information, financial consent forms, and authorizations/referrals.
• Collect co-payments, co-insurances, and past-due balances; explain financial responsibilities.
• Complete insurance and benefits verifications and notify parties of coverage issues.
• Schedule follow-up appointments and coordinate authorizations or referrals.
• Scan patient information and maintain accurate EMR documentation.
