Job summary

Premier Orthopaedics, in partnership with Philadelphia Hand to Shoulder, is seeking a dedicated Patient Service Representative for our on-site office in Broomall, PA. This full-time role Monday–Friday involves greeting patients, verifying insurance, scheduling appointments, and collecting payments while upholding HIPAA standards and confidentiality.

The position requires 1–2 years of front-office experience in a medical setting, familiarity with EMR systems (Allscripts Pro Suite a plus), and

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent working knowledge preferred.
• Minimum 1–2 years of patient registration or front office experience in a medical setting preferred.
• Experience with insurance rules and regulations and EMR systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and manage check-in/check-out.
• Verify insurance and collect payments.
• Schedule appointments and coordinate referrals/authorizations.
• Maintain patient privacy and HIPAA compliance.
• Balance cash drawer and reconcile transactions.
• Maintain a clean and professional front-office environment.
