ProgressiveHealth of Indiana, LLC is seeking a Patient Experience Specialist for our Newburgh, IN location. This in‑office role focuses on front‑office responsibilities, patient scheduling, registrations, and insurance coordination.

No previous experience required, though healthcare exposure is a plus. The position is full‑time and weekday day shift with opportunities to grow within a progressive healthcare team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• At least 1 year of related experience and/or training
• Past medical office experience preferred but not required
• Ability to stand, walk, and sit for long periods
• Strong professionalism in written and verbal communication

Responsibilities

• Schedule and recapture appointments, reschedule missed visits.
• Register patients (check‑in/out) with complete, accurate information.
• Coordinate referrals with patients and referring physicians.
• Document referrals in logs as directed.
• Schedule initial evaluations and follow-ups per treatment plan.
• Verify insurance in advance and obtain prior authorizations if needed.
• Educate patients about coverage and payments related to therapy services.
• Collect payments due prior to each visit.
• Answer calls professionally and transfer messages when needed.
• Assist with other clinic operations as assigned by Site Coordinator or Revenue Cycle Dept.
