Job summary

ProgressiveHealth of Indiana, LLC seeks a Patient Experience Specialist in Washington, IN to join our in-office team. This full-time role manages front office tasks, schedules appointments, registers patients, verifies insurance, and educates patients on coverage and costs.

You will answer calls, coordinate with physicians, and support compliance and revenue cycle activities in a fast-paced clinic. Ideal candidates have at least a year of related experience, or training, and a strong

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of related experience; medical office preferred.
• Ability to stand, walk, and sit for the shift; professional communication.
• Strong computer skills and ability to work independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and recapture appointments, reschedule missed visits, and manage patient flow.
• Register patients at check-in/out and ensure data accuracy.
• Coordinate with physicians to obtain referrals and schedule initial evaluations.
• Verify insurance pre-authorizations and explain coverage and costs to patients.
• Collect payments and explain billing responsibilities; answer calls professionally.
• Assist with compliance items and other clinic duties as assigned.
