Job summary

ProgressiveHealth of Indiana, LLC – Jasper, IN is seeking a Patient Experience Specialist to manage front office tasks in a traditional hospital setting focused on outpatient rehab. This is a full-time, in-office position with a weekday, day-shift schedule.

The ideal candidate will have strong customer service skills, adaptability, and the ability to handle scheduling, check-in/out, billing communications, and insurance confirmations. No prior experience is required but is welcomed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• At least a year of related experience preferred; not required.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and recapture appointments; reschedule as needed.
• Register patients (check-in/out) and ensure data accuracy.
• Coordinate with referring physicians for referrals.
• Verify patient insurance pre-authorizations.
• Educate patients about coverage and payments for therapy services.
• Collect co-pays, deductibles and balances.
• Answer calls professionally and take messages.
