This in-office, full-time role emphasizes accuracy in check-in/out, scheduling, and patient communications. The ideal candidate has a High School diploma or GED and 1–2 years of medical receptionist experience; strong computer skills with MS Office are needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1–2 years medical receptionist experience preferred.
• Past medical office experience is helpful but not required.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and manage appointments, reschedule as needed.
• Register patients at check-in/out with complete/accurate information.
• Coordinate referrals with patients/doctors to obtain approvals.
• Document referrals in logs as directed.
• Schedule initial evaluations and follow-up visits per treatment plan.
• Verify insurance in advance and obtain prior authorizations if needed.
• Educate patients about coverage and payment responsibilities.
