Job summary

Central Ohio Primary Care Physicians, Inc. is seeking a patient services representative to ensure a positive patient experience from arrival to departure, including check-in, insurance verification, co-pays collection, and accurate data entry.

You will collaborate with clinical staff to coordinate care, answer phone calls and emails, schedule appointments, and perform general clerical tasks while maintaining HIPAA compliance.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Preferred: 1 year of administrative experience in a healthcare setting.
• Experience with patient onboarding and registration is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and complete check-in procedures.
• Register patients and verify insurance.
• Collect copays and outstanding balances.
• Answer calls and emails from patients and departments; direct or escalate as needed.
• Schedule appointments and reminders; communicate with patients.
• Perform clerical tasks: mail, filing, scanning, data entry, and general support.
• Maintain HIPAA confidentiality and privacy standards.
