Job summary

Jefferson Health Plans seeks a Patient Services Associate I to join the front desk of an outpatient practice in Horsham, PA. You will verify insurance, referrals, and patient demographics while greeting visitors and assisting with appointment scheduling.

You will work within EPIC for check-in/out, maintain patient flow, and uphold HIPAA privacy standards while delivering a courteous Jefferson Experience to all patients and visitors.

Qualifications

• Strong customer service and front-desk interaction skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality of patient information.
• Proficiency with scheduling systems and multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Interacts with coworkers, visitors, and staff in line with Jefferson values.
• Processes check in/out and scheduling via EPIC.
• Greets patients/visitors professionally in person or by phone.
• Maintains efficient flow of practice and escalates concerns as needed.
• Adheres to HIPAA privacy and security requirements and regulatory standards.
• Other duties as assigned.
