Job summary

Platinum Dermatology Partners is seeking a Front Desk Coordinator to join our busy ADA-Las Colinas clinic in Irving, TX. You will be the first impression for patients, handling phone lines, appointments, and front desk workflows with professionalism and empathy.

The ideal candidate has 2–3 years of front desk experience in a medical office, knowledge of insurance verification, scheduling, and EMR systems, and a strong customer-service mindset in a fast-paced dermatology setting.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2-3 years of front desk experience in a medical office/clinic.
• Dermatology or cosmetic office experience preferred.
• Knowledgeable of patient check-in/check-out workflows and CPT/ICD-10 terms.

Responsibilities

• Answering phones and greeting patients; schedule appointments.
• Prepare necessary patient paperwork before the appointment.
• Review EMA for information to update and enter data.
• Verify insurance eligibility and prior authorizations.
• Record and collect patient copays and balances at check-in/out.
• Forward non-routine requests to appropriate personnel.
• Other duties as assigned.
