Job summary

Platinum Dermatology Partners in Plano, TX, seeks a Front Desk Coordinator to be the first point of contact for patients. You will greet visitors, answer calls, schedule appointments, and handle routine inquiries with professionalism.

The role requires 2–3 years of medical front desk experience, knowledge of CPT/ICD-10, insurance verification and prior authorizations, and accurate EMA data entry. High school diploma required; dermatology experience a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2–3 years of front desk experience in a medical office/clinic.
• Prior dermatology or cosmetic experience preferred.
• Knowledge of CPT, ICD-10, and medical terminology.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Answer phones, greet patients, and schedule appointments.
• Review EMA and update patient information as needed.
• Verify insurance eligibility and prior authorizations.
• Collect copays and balances at check-in/out.
• Other duties as assigned in a fast-paced clinic.
