Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.

• Comfort with learning practice management systems (EMR).
• Maintain patient confidentiality and professionalism.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and serve as the primary contact for interactions.
• Answer calls and respond to inquiries; manage emails professionally.
• Schedule and optimize provider appointments; manage cancellations.
• Send confirmations and reminders to reduce no-shows.
• Verify insurance eligibility and enter patient data in EMR.
• Explain coverage and patient financial responsibilities.
• Prepare charts and documentation ahead of visits.
• Record charges and process payments in EMR; balance postings.
• Run reports to ensure billing is up to date.
• Monitor patient flow and coordinate with clinical teams.
• Support patient retention through recalls and follow-ups.
