Job summary

Athletico is seeking a Patient Experience Coordinator to ensure accurate patient intake, financial clearance, and a seamless front-office experience. You will work closely with clinical teams and report to the Clinic Manager, receiving support from the Patient Experience Specialist.

Responsibilities include patient intake, insurance eligibility verification, and educating patients on payments and digital tools, while collecting time-of-service payments and coordinating scheduling to optimize

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or GED.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Proficient with MS Office, Outlook and Excel.
• Knowledge of healthcare insurance benefits and coverage preferred.
• Experience with requesting and managing customer payments preferred.
• 1-2 years of customer service required.
• 1-2 years of healthcare administration preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver an exceptional front-office experience by greeting patients warmly and resolving issues.
• Accurately complete patient intake and registration, including demographics and insurance eligibility.
• Educate patients on financial responsibilities, payment options, and digital tools.
• Collect time-of-service payments and meet collection targets.
• Manage clinic scheduling workflows to optimize provider availability.
• Track KPIs for registration accuracy and patient satisfaction.
• Coordinate with PES, Billing, and Clinical Ops to resolve issues.
• Utilize EMR systems and reporting tools to monitor outcomes and drive improvements.
