Job summary

Athletico is seeking a Patient Experience Coordinator to ensure accurate patient intake and financial clearance, delivering an exceptional front-office experience. You will collaborate with clinical teams and support revenue cycle performance under supervision of the Clinic Manager.

The role requires strong customer service, EMR/EHR proficiency, and the ability to educate patients on payments and digital tools, with opportunities for professional growth within a supportive team.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1-2 years of customer service experience.
• 1-2 years of healthcare administration experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver an exceptional front-office experience for patients and families.
• Complete patient intake and registration with accuracy and compliance.
• Educate patients on financial responsibilities and available digital tools.
• Collect time-of-service payments and meet collection targets.
• Manage clinic scheduling to optimize provider availability.
• Monitor KPIs for registration accuracy and patient satisfaction.
• Coordinate with PES, Billing, and Clinical Operations to resolve issues.
• Utilize EMR/EHR systems and dashboards to track outcomes.
• Communicate patient progress notes to referral sources timely.
• Organize patient milestone celebrations and community activities with the clinical team.
• Participate in ongoing front-office training and cross-training.
