Job summary

Oak Street Health is seeking a Welcome Coordinator to create a warm, inclusive environment for patients and guests. You will be the face of the clinic, handling check-ins, forms, and front-desk duties to support smooth operations and a high-touch patient experience.

You will manage scheduling within the EMR, collect co-pays, update patient records, answer calls, and help keep the Welcome and Community Room tidy. Some travel to nearby centers may be required occasionally.

Qualifications

• Strong computer skills and basic knowledge of Google Suite.
• Professional phone etiquette.
• Fluency in Spanish, Polish, Russian, or other languages spoken by people in the communities we serve.
• US work authorization.
• Some college experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Welcoming patients and guests.
• Check-in and assist with required forms.
• Collect co-pays and update patient information in the EMR.
• Schedule/reschedule appointments in the EMR.
• Answer phones, take messages, and make outbound calls.
• Maintain cleanliness of Welcome and Community Room areas.
• Occasionally float to other centers in the region.
