Job summary

Avance Care is hiring a Front Desk team member to be the first point of contact for patients. You will create a warm, welcoming environment and support patients from check-in to check-out in a fast-paced clinic.

The position requires at least one year of Medical Front Desk experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to manage EMR tasks, payments, and referrals. A related degree is preferred and benefits start after 30 days.

Qualifications

• Related degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Meet, greet, and assist patients promptly and professionally.
• Set up new patients and update information in the EMR system.
• Schedule and reschedule appointments; coordinate walk-ins.
• Answer phone calls and relay messages as needed.
• Maintain a tidy front desk and reception area.
• Collect co-payments, deductibles, and co-insurances.
• Process referrals with accurate information for patients.
• Balance cash register and ensure credit payments are accurate.
• Explain fees, services, and policies.
