Advanced Urgent Care & Occupational Medicine is seeking a Front Desk Receptionist to be the first patient contact, delivering warm, professional service and smooth clinic operations. You will greet patients, process check-ins/outs, answer calls, schedule visits, and assist with insurance verification while maintaining HIPAA-compliant records.

The role requires strong interpersonal skills, multitasking, and a caring attitude in a mission-driven setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED, or equivalent experience.
• Experience with Athena Medical Records preferred.
• Basic Life Support (CPR & AED) certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome patients, creating a friendly and professional atmosphere.
• Manage patient check-ins and check-outs with accurate information and payments.
• Answer phone calls and respond to appointment inquiries.
• Schedule and confirm appointments, coordinating with providers.
• Maintain accurate EMR records and ensure HIPAA compliance.
• Assist patients with forms and paperwork; answer questions.
• Verify insurance information and handle co-payments; resolve billing issues.
