Job summary

Valeris in the United States is seeking a patient services coordinator to build and maintain trusted relationships with patients, explain benefits, and coordinate pharmacy and payer communications. This role requires strong communication, empathy, and knowledge of healthcare regulations, with a shift 9 AM–6 PM ET; bilingual ability a plus.

You will document activities in the Lynk system, assist with benefits investigations, and guide patients through insurance coverage and out-of-pocket costs,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree strongly preferred or equivalent experience; High school diploma or GED required.
• Healthcare industry experience strongly preferred.
• Ability to work an 8.5-hour shift between 8 am to 9 pm, Monday to Friday.
• Bi-lingual in English and Spanish or Chinese/Mandarin is a plus.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills; speak concisely to patients.
• Basic computer knowledge and multitasking ability.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain trusted relationships with patients, delivering proactive communication and patient-centered services.
• Ensure interactions comply with healthcare laws and regulations.
• Discuss pharmacy benefit products and patient needs to aid understanding.
• Conduct program welcome calls and explain available services.
• Explain coverage options clearly to enhance understanding of benefits.
