Job summary

Valeris is seeking a patient services specialist to build trusted relationships with patients, explain coverage options, and coordinate resources. You will work within healthcare regulations, assist with program onboarding, and document activities in the Lynk system.

The role emphasizes empathetic patient care, clear communication, and multitasking in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate has healthcare experience, strong communication skills, and may be bilingual in English and Spanish

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree strongly preferred or equivalent experience
• Customer service and healthcare industry experience preferred
• Able to work 8.5-hour shift between 8 am–9 pm, Monday–Friday
• Bi-lingual in English and Spanish or Chinese/Mandarin is a plus
• Commitment to patient care and care coordination
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Good professional telephone etiquette

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain trusted relationships with patients through proactive communication
• Ensure interactions comply with healthcare laws and regulations
• Explain reimbursement and coverage options clearly to patients
• Conduct program welcome calls and assist patients with resources
• Provide information about products, treatment and insurance coverage
• Document activities in the Lynk system and maintain records
• Triage patients to internal or external resources as needed
• Handle inbound inquiries and de-escalate challenging situations
