Job summary

Oak Street Health is seeking a Welcome Coordinator in Baton Rouge to greet patients, assist with check-in, collect co-pays, and keep EMR data up to date. You’ll coordinate scheduling, answer calls, and support our Service Team to deliver a friendly, efficient patient experience.

This full-time role includes 40 hours weekly, with pay range $17.00–$25.65 per hour and a comprehensive benefits package. Language skills and strong computer basics are valued as we serve a diverse community.

Qualifications

• Strong computer skills and Google Suite experience.
• Professional phone etiquette.
• Fluency in Spanish, Polish, Russian, or other languages spoken by communities served.
• US work authorization.

Responsibilities

• Welcoming patients and guests.
• Check-in and assisting patients with forms.
• Collecting co-pays.
• Updating patient information in the EMR.
• Scheduling/rescheduling appointments in the EMR.
• Managing phone lines and outbound calls.
• Handling faxes in the electronic fax system.
• Maintaining cleanliness of Welcome and Community Room areas.
• Occasional float to other centers in the region.
• Other duties as assigned.
