Boston Children's Hospital is seeking a part-time Patient Experience representative to provide administrative support to the General Medicine unit and help ensure the best possible patient experience by coordinating services for patients and families. The role emphasizes strong customer service, communication skills, and collaboration with internal teams.

Schedule is every other Saturday/Sunday 3-11pm, with additional shift coverage as needed; prior administrative or customer service experience

Qualifications

• High school diploma required, bachelor's preferred.
• Prior customer service or administrative experience preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication; ability to empathize in tough situations.
• Ability to work with diverse internal and external constituencies.

Responsabilités

• Provide patient encounter management and coordinate services.
• Collaborate with referring providers and practices.
• Obtain required authorizations to compile schedules.
• Schedule patients and support encounters.
• Record and forward messages; triage calls; initiate emergency services.
• Process admissions/discharges.
• Provide routine clerical support.
