Southwoods Health in Youngstown and Austintown, OH is seeking a patient-focused Medical Receptionist to support our Orthopedic offices across both locations. This part-time role serves as the primary face of the practice, ensuring a welcoming, proactive, and high-quality experience from arrival.

The role involves patient registrations, co-pays, scheduling follow-ups, triage calls, and collaboration with clinical staff to maintain smooth daily operations and patient flow.

Qualifications

• Experience as a medical receptionist preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and knowledge of medical terminology.
• Strong customer service skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Manage patient access: registration, check-in, check-out across locations.
• Collect patient co-pays and verify insurance.
• Coordinate follow-up appointments and communicate post-visit instructions clearly.
• Perform baseline telephone triage and route messages to providers.
• Collaborate with clinical staff to maintain efficient patient flow.
