Job summary

Sport and Spine Therapy of Marin, a member of Therapy Partners Group, is seeking a full-time Medical Receptionist at our Novato location. Starting hourly pay ranges from $23.00 to $25.00, depending on experience. Schedule is Monday to Friday.

You will greet patients, answer phones, coordinate with Billing and Therapists, maintain confidentiality, and support patient flow using Microsoft Office and optional Raintree PMS.

Qualifications

• Thorough knowledge of Microsoft Office; Raintree PMS experience is a plus
• Strong customer service skills
• Ability to maintain confidential documents
• Must be organized and able to manage multiple priorities
• Ability to communicate complex information clearly, both orally and in writing
• Ability to build rapport and work with others
• Ability to identify and solve problems

• Ability to multi-task while maintaining a friendly atmosphere with patients nearby

Responsibilities

• Greeting warmly and maintain a friendly, welcoming relationship with all patient care coordinators and external connections
• Clearly communicates with staff in a friendly and courteous manner
• Answer phones and greet patients with professionalism and care
• Work closely with Billing Department, Physical Therapists and Aide staff to assure smooth patient flow
• Maintain patient confidentiality and protect operations by keeping information confidential
• Adhere to HIPAA Policies and Procedures of Therapy Partners Group
• Review Copay reports and identify accounts that may need review
• Audit Journeys/Dashboard to ensure timely handling
• Audit Payer Direct Portal to ensure notes uploaded and AUTHs pulled
• Check FOC Chats to ensure messages are responded to
• Chart audit days in advance to ensure charts have documents and AUTHs as required
