Silver Creek Physical Therapy, part of Therapy Partners Group, seeks a full-time Medical Receptionist for our Sunnyvale location. The ideal candidate will warmly greet patients, manage calls, and coordinate scheduling in a fast-paced outpatient setting.

Starting hourly pay is $21.00 to $23.00 depending on experience, with full-time hours Monday through Friday 8:15am - 5:15pm. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with Practice Management Systems is preferred, along with strong customer

Responsibilities

• Greets warmly and maintains a friendly, welcoming relationship with all patient care coordinators and external connections.
• Clearly communicates with all staff, including clinical and corporate employees, in a friendly and courteous manner.
• Answers phones and greets patients professionally; returns voicemails the same day; maintains call answer rate above 85%.
• Adheres to HIPAA Policies and Procedures of Therapy Partners Group.
• Escalates patient issues to Clinical leadership and Regional Front Office management.
• Schedules initial evaluations and follow-up visits through plan of care.

Currently, we are looking for a full time Medical Receptionist for our Sunnyvale location.

Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:15am - 5:15pm

ESSENTIAL POSITION DUTIES

• Greets warmly and maintains a friendly, welcoming relationship with all patient care coordinators, and any external connections.
• Clearly communicates with all staff, including clinical and corporate employees, in a friendly and courteous manner
• Responsible for answering phones and greeting patients with the utmost professionalism and care in a timely manner and returning VMs same day received. Will maintain higher than 85% answer call rate.
• Participates in and adheres to, as required, the HIPAA Policies and Procedures of Therapy Partner Group
• Escalates patient issues and concerns, as needed, to local Clinical leadership and Regional Front Office management.
• Scheduling patient’s initial evaluations and follow up visits through plan of care

MINIMUM POSITION REQUIREMENTS

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Thorough knowledge of Microsoft Office; Raintree PMS experience is a +Plus
• Possess strong relationship building and customer service skills
• Ability to maintain confidential documents
• Ability to demonstrate active listening by asking clarifying questions, identify and share relevant information and solicit feedback from others and give and receives feedback objectively.
• Possess strong team player attributes
• Ability to multi-task responsibilities while maintaining a positive and friendly atmosphere with the patients nearby

Education and Experience

Education: High School diploma or equivalent (Must be 18+)

Experience: At minimum, 1+ years of consistent experience as a medical receptionist. Practice Management System knowledge, patient scheduling capabilities and insurance plan understanding.

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions Requires prolonged sitting, some walking, bending, stooping, reaching, and stretching. Requires eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity sufficient to operate a keyboard, mouse, photocopier, telephone, calculator, and other equipment. Requires normal range of hearing and eyesight to record, prepare and present reports.
