VillageMD is seeking a Patient Service Representative to join our multispecialty care team. You will support the care team with registration, scheduling, and patient communication, ensuring a high-quality patient experience.

The role emphasizes accurate data entry, financial transactions, and coordination of referrals and tests while maintaining compassionate, professional service across satellite locations as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Associate degree preferred.
• Previous PSR experience preferred.
• Ability to communicate clearly in English, both verbally and in writing.
• Excellent customer service skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Greet visitors and direct them to appropriate staff.
• Maintain efficient patient flow during registration.
• Answer calls promptly and relay messages accurately.
• Update patient records in the EHR.
• Process payments and issue receipts.
• Schedule appointments per department guidelines.
• Coordinate referrals, tests, and pre-authorizations.
• Assist with patient portal enrollment and follow-up communications.
