Athletico Physical Therapy is seeking a part-time Patient Experience Coordinator in Richmond, VA. You will ensure accurate patient intake, financial clearance, and a seamless front-office experience while maintaining data integrity and supporting revenue cycle performance.

The role requires excellent customer service, proficiency with EMR/EHR systems, and strong communication skills to educate patients on payments and digital tools. Experience with scheduling and HIPAA compliance is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Demonstrated customer service excellence in a high-volume setting.
• Experience with insurance verification and patient financial clearance preferred.
• Proficiency in MS Office; familiarity with Excel and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and deliver a welcoming, front-office experience.
• Complete patient intake and registration, verify demographics and insurance eligibility.
• Educate patients on financial responsibilities and digital tools.
• Collect time-of-service payments and meet collection targets.
• Manage scheduling workflows to optimize provider availability.
