Athletico Physical Therapy is recruiting a Patient Experience Coordinator to ensure accurate patient intake and financial clearance, delivering a seamless front-office experience while maintaining data integrity and supporting revenue cycle performance.

This full-time role requires strong customer service, EMR proficiency, and knowledge of insurance verification with HIPAA compliance. Collaboration with clinic teams and ongoing training are essential to success.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Proficient with MS Office, Outlook and Excel.
• Knowledge of healthcare insurance benefits and coverage preferred.
• Experience handling customer payments preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver an exceptional front-office experience and greet patients warmly.
• Accurately complete patient intake, demographics, insurance eligibility and authorization requirements.
• Educate patients on financial responsibilities, payment options and digital tools.
• Collect time-of-service payments and meet collection targets.
• Manage clinic scheduling workflows for provider availability and access.
• Monitor KPIs for registration accuracy and patient satisfaction.
• Collaborate with PES, Billing, and Clinical Operations to resolve issues.
• Utilize EMR systems and dashboards to track outcomes and support improvements.
• Coordinate communication of progress notes to referral sources.
