Athletico Physical Therapy is hiring a Patient Experience Coordinator to manage accurate patient intake and financial clearance, delivering a seamless front-office experience while ensuring data integrity and compliance.

The role reports to the Clinic Manager and collaborates with clinical teams, supported by the PES. It includes benefits and opportunities to contribute to revenue cycle performance.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Proficient with MS Office, Outlook and Excel.
• Knowledge of healthcare insurance benefits and coverage preferred.
• Experience with requesting and managing customer payments preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and provide a seamless front-office experience.
• Complete patient intake and registration with accurate data.
• Educate patients on financial responsibilities and payment options.
• Collect time-of-service payments and meet collection targets.
• Manage clinic scheduling to optimize provider availability and access.
• Monitor KPIs for registration accuracy and patient satisfaction.
• Collaborate with PES, Billing, and Clinical Operations to resolve issues.
• Use EMR, dashboards, and reporting tools to track outcomes.
• Communicate patient progress notes to referral sources.
• Organize patient milestone celebrations and community events.
• Participate in training and cross-training programs.
• Coordinate with clinical team for events and celebrations.
• Provide Rehab Aide cross-training on front office duties.
