This role emphasizes data integrity, HIPAA compliance, and supporting revenue cycle performance while delivering outstanding service across registrations, payments, and scheduling.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience in a high-volume, patient-facing environment.
• Proficiency with MS Office, Outlook and Excel.
• Knowledge of healthcare insurance benefits and coverage.
• Experience with requesting and managing patient payments.
• 1-2 years of healthcare administration preferred.
• Education: High School Diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and deliver an exceptional front-office experience.
• Complete patient intake, insurance eligibility, and authorization requirements.
• Educate patients on financial responsibilities and payment options.
• Collect time-of-service payments and meet collection targets.
• Coordinate scheduling and optimize provider availability.
• Use EMR systems and dashboards to track patient outcomes and improve processes.
• Communicate patient progress notes to referral sources.
• Assist with community-building activities and patient milestones.
• Participate in ongoing training and cross-training.
• Coordinate events with clinical team.
• Provide Rehab Aide cross-training on front office duties.
