Job summary

Athletico Physical Therapy in Ann Arbor seeks a Patient Experience Coordinator to ensure accurate patient intake and financial clearance, delivering a seamless front-office experience while safeguarding data integrity and supporting revenue cycle performance.

The role reports to the Clinic Manager and collaborates with clinical teams, PES, Billing, and Operations, handling insurance eligibility, authorizations, scheduling, and patient communications.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service skills and ability to resolve issues promptly.
• Proficient with MS Office, Outlook and Excel; healthcare billing knowledge preferred.
• Experience with insurance verification, authorizations, and financial clearance.

Responsibilities

• Deliver an exceptional front-office experience by greeting patients warmly and resolving issues promptly.
• Complete patient intake and registration, verify demographics and insurance eligibility.
• Educate patients on financial responsibilities and payment options; collect payments.
• Manage scheduling workflows and monitor KPIs for accuracy and satisfaction.
• Collaborate with PES, Billing and Clinical Operations to resolve complex issues.
