The Orthopedic Clinic is seeking an energetic Patient Services Representative to join our East Central Florida team. You will be the first point of contact for patients, delivering exceptional service while ensuring accurate registration, insurance checks, and smooth patient flow.

Responsibilities include greeting patients, validating demographics and eligibility, handling co-pays, scheduling follow-ups, and collaborating with clinical staff to support a positive patient experience.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma required.
• Customer service experience, preferably in medical setting.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and EHR software (Athena).
• Valid driver's license with clean record.

Aufgaben

• Greet patients and visitors professionally and compassionately.
• Validate demographics and insurance at check-in for accurate EHR.
• Prepare registration paperwork and review eligibility.
• Perform initial insurance eligibility and verification.
• Collect co-pays and balances at check-in and checkout.
• Schedule follow-ups and physical therapy appointments.
• Provide summary of care and patient education as prescribed by provider.
• Assist team and cover front desk as needed, including other locations.
