Job summary

Ortho OIC Orthopaedic Immediate Care LLC seeks a Front Desk / Patient Services Representative to be the first contact for patients. You will manage check-in/out, scheduling, and essential administrative tasks supporting daily clinic operations.

You will verify demographics and insurance, collect co-pays, and maintain HIPAA-compliant records while delivering courteous, professional service in a fast-paced, patient-centered environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1+ year front desk experience, preferably in healthcare.
• Experience with EMR systems and insurance verification preferred.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Greet and check in/out patients professionally.
• Verify and update patient demographics and insurance.
• Collect co-pays, deductibles, and balances at service.
• Schedule, reschedule, and confirm appointments.
• Answer and route calls on a multi-line phone system.
• Verify insurance eligibility and benefits before visits.
• Scan and maintain HIPAA-compliant patient records.
• Manage waiting room flow and communicate wait times.
• Process referrals and other patient documentation.
• Keep front office and lobby organized and clean.
• Support clinical staff with administrative tasks.
