Michigan Orthopaedic Surgeons is seeking a Front Desk Representative to be the first and last impression for patients, welcoming them and ensuring a seamless check-in and check-out in a busy orthopedic clinic.

You will verify demographics and insurance, collect payments, coordinate follow-ups, and support efficient clinic operations, while delivering outstanding customer service and maintaining patient confidentiality under HIPAA.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Minimum two years of customer service experience.
• Strong communication, organizational, and computer skills.
• Preferred: one year of experience in a medical office or healthcare setting.

Responsabilités

• Welcome patients and create a positive first impression.
• Verify and update patient demographics, insurance, and registration information.
• Enter forms into the Electronic Health Record (EHR).
• Collect copays, outstanding balances, and other patient payments.
• Schedule follow-up appointments and provide visit documentation.
• Coordinate check-out and outbound patient communications.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and HIPAA compliance.
