Upperline Health, Inc. is seeking a Patient Care Coordinator based in East Orlando to support physicians in delivering complex health services in the clinic setting.

This role handles medical front desk duties, greets patients, and ensures accurate check-in and timely appointment preparation. The ideal candidate will have front desk healthcare experience, EMR familiarity (Athenahealth preferred), strong communication skills, and a patient-centered approach in a fast-paced team environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in front-office receptionist roles within healthcare or customer service.
• Preference for podiatric or orthopedic clinic background.
• Billing or coding experience is a plus.
• Experience with EMR systems, Athenahealth preferred.
• Excellent communication and professional, empathetic demeanor.

Responsabilités

• Handle front desk duties: greet patients, check-in, collect required information.
• Assist patients with scheduling appointments.
• Maintain on-time schedules; notify physicians of arrivals.
• Retrieve and file patient records as needed.
• Collect payments from patients and verify details.
• Update and file patient information; scan documents into EMR.
• Manage office supplies including stocking and ordering.
• Protect patient confidentiality and rights.
• Support team with additional duties as needed.
