Job summary

One Medical is seeking a Member Support Specialist to be the friendly ambassador for patients in our Seattle Pediatrics office. You will ensure a seamless in-person experience, manage intake and same-day scheduling, assist with insurance verification and billing, and support our providers and care team.

You will collaborate with a diverse team, communicate clearly, and use your empathy to help patients and teammates.

Qualifications

Experience in high-touch customer or patient-facing roles.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Experience working in diverse, feedback-driven teams.
Ability to stay composed under pressure and adapt quickly.
Proficiency with multiple software systems and basic computer tasks.
Evidence of fair compensation practices and customer-first mindset.
Base pay noted: $22.75 per hour for full-time schedule.

Responsibilities

Deliver exceptional in-office patient experience and assist with intake and scheduling.
Verify insurance, handle front-desk duties, and support billing tasks.
Assist patients with appointments, transportation, and tests as needed.
Contribute to team development through huddles and problem solving.
Master Slack, G-Suite, Zoom, Circulation, RingCentral, and EMR systems.
Perform opening/closing duties and maintain office space appearance.
