Job summary

One Medical is seeking a dedicated Member Support Specialist to serve as the in-office ambassador for patients. You will ensure a seamless patient experience, manage check-in/check-out, verify insurance, and support the practice team with diverse administrative tasks.

We value empathy, clear communication, and teamwork. The role includes training on our tech stack and requires adaptability to schedule changes across the Downtown Seattle office.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience in high touch customer or patient facing roles.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience working on collaborative, diverse and feedback-driven multi-disciplinary teams.
• Proficiency with computer technology such as typing, navigating the internet and using multiple software systems simultaneously.

Responsibilities

• Provide front desk and in-office support, including patient check-in/check-out and scheduling.
• Manage insurance verification and billing-related tasks.
• Assist with phone calls, faxes, and coordinating patient transportation.
• Participate in team huddles and problem-solving sessions.
• Master the office tech stack (Slack, G-Suite, Zoom, EMR, RingCentral).
• Perform opening/closing duties and maintain office appearance.
