Job summary

One Medical is seeking a friendly and proactive Member Support Specialist to be the first point of contact for patients in our Downtown Seattle office. You will ensure a smooth in-person experience, assist with scheduling, billing inquiries, and patient transportation, and uphold our high standards of care.

You will work closely with the Practice Coordinator and Operations Manager, using a variety of software tools to support daily operations.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience in high touch customer or patient facing roles.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience working on collaborative, diverse and feedback-driven multi-disciplinary teams.
• Proficiency in computer technology such as typing and navigating the internet, and using multiple software systems simultaneously.

Responsibilities

• Use C-I-CARE framework in all patient interactions to ensure a positive in-office experience.
• Handle front-of-house duties: check in/out, insurance verification, printing, and prepping tests.
• Assist senior patients with administrative tasks like calls, faxes, and transportation coordination.
• Contribute to team development through rounding, huddles, and problem solving.
• Master our tech stack (Slack, G-suite, Zoom, Circulation, RingCentral, EMR) to complete daily tasks.
• Perform opening/closing duties and maintain office look and feel.
