Qualifications

• Dermatology or cosmetic experience preferred.
• Experience with insurance verification and scheduling.
• Knowledge of medical dermatology terms (CPT, ICD-10).
• Strong written and verbal communication; good math skills.
• Professional appearance and mannerisms.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience using EMR systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Handle front desk operations: answer phones, greet patients, schedule appointments.
• Prepare patient paperwork before appointments; review EMA for updates.
• Update patient information in EMA.
• Verify payer sources and insurance eligibility; obtain prior authorization.
• Record and collect patient copays and balances at check-in/out.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
