Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• BLS certification within three months of hire.
• Mandatory Reporter abuse training within three months of hire.
• Ability to read, write, and understand English; communicate effectively with patients, visitors, and colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates Trinity Health Mission, Vision and Values in daily behavior and decisions.
• Check-in patients and ensure the admitting process is efficient and compliant with clinic and regulatory policies.
• Answer phone calls and direct them appropriately.
• Schedule appointments according to office guidelines.
• Obtain accurate patient and insurance information, collecting copays and deductible amounts.
• Copy/scan patient documents (ID, referrals, insurance) into the EMR.
