Job summary

The PSA may work in a physician practice or call center, rotating between functions; minimum HS diploma and 2+ years of medical office or customer service experience required.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of medical office experience, or 2 years of customer service experience.
• HS diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in patient arrival and departure activities, manage front-desk tasks and patient communications.
• Schedule patient appointments and confirm timings, using established schedules and protocols.
• Update patient insurance and billing information in the EMR; collect copays and verify signatures as needed.
• Maintain compliance with applicable regulations and support operational targets.
