Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1-3 years in customer-facing roles (healthcare front desk preferred).
• Experience with scheduling, check-in/out, payments or reservations.
• Ability to handle escalations and resolve issues professionally.
• Advanced English required; bilingual Spanish or Creole preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and visitors; determine visit purpose and direct to the right department.
• Perform check-in/out; verify appointments; collect copayments and update records.
• Validate insurance eligibility and update contact information in the system.
• Support post-visit follow-up and coordinate with care teams for continuity.
• Maintain confidentiality and secure PHI; respond to patient questions courteously.
