Job summary

Sanitas in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a Patient Representative Coordinator (PRC) to welcome patients, coordinate pre-visit planning, check-in and post-visit follow-up while maintaining accurate records and confidentiality.

You will support the patient journey across insurance verification, copayment collection, and scheduling using eCW, Leap, Availity, and other systems, ensuring timely care and a positive patient experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in fast-paced customer-facing roles preferred.
• Strong communication and organizational skills essential.
• Proficiency with scheduling systems and payer interactions preferred.

Responsibilities

• Welcomes and greets patients and visitors in a friendly, professional manner.
• Performs check-in including verifying insurance and collecting copayments.
• Verifies insurance eligibility and updates patient records in the system.
• Ensures accurate records and confidentiality in handling PHI.
• Supports post-visit follow-up and coordinates with care teams.
• Maintains orderly medical charts and coordinates with staff on workflow.
