Job summary

Stanton Optical in Roswell, NM, is seeking a Doctor’s Technician to provide outstanding customer service, facilitate sales, and ensure a smooth flow between clinical services and the retail team. You will be the friendly first touchpoint for patients and help guide them through the eyeglass journey.

You will greet patients, collect information, perform pre-tests, schedule appointments, and assist with frame and lens work while maintaining store standards.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of customer service experience with patients or customers.
• Ability to communicate effectively with a diverse group of people.
• Active listening, rapport-building and empathy with patients.
• Proactive problem solving and ability to adapt in a team environment.
• Collaborative spirit while maintaining respectful relationships.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and customers entering the store and identify needs to ensure an easy, memorable experience.
• Foster partnership between retail and professional services teams.
• Schedule and confirm appointments; collect patient history and perform basic tests.
• Assist management with patient issues and communicate status of orders.
• Maintain brand standards; perform basic housekeeping and ensure timely delivery of glasses.
• Assist in lab area, notify about equipment issues, and track delivery times to patients.
• Other duties as assigned.
