Job summary

Now Optics, doing business as Stanton Optical, seeks a Doctor’s Technician to deliver outstanding customer service, facilitate patient flow, and support sales at our Amarillo store. You will bridge retail and clinical services, handle pre-tests, and help finalize eyewear orders.

You will work with a team to uphold brand standards, manage appointments, and contribute to a high‑quality patient experience. We offer medical/dental coverage, eyeglasses benefits, and professional development.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or advanced certification beyond high school diploma; or currently enrolled in a comparable program.
• 2+ years of experience delivering outstanding customer service to patients or customers.
• Strong communication with diverse groups.
• Active listening and rapport building with patients.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize and adapt in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and customers entering the store, identify needs, and promote available products and services.
• Foster a strong partnership between the retail team and professional services.
• Schedule and confirm appointments; input patient history and perform noninvasive tests.
• Assist management with patient issues and ensure timely fulfillment of orders.
• Maintain brand standards, housekeeping in store and lab areas, and on-time delivery of eyeglasses.
