Intermountain Health in the Utah Valley Clinic (Provo, UT) seeks a Patient Service Representative to be the first point of contact for patients, greet and check in/out, and verify information to ensure smooth intake and care. Qualifications

Six months of customer service experience.
Basic computer skills for word processing and data entry.
Professional manner and strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to protect privacy and PHI of patients and caregivers.
Collaborative work with patients and caregivers to ensure satisfaction.

Responsibilities

Provide courteous and professional connections with patients over the phone, in person, or via secure messaging; identify and resolve patient needs related to intake and care.
Document all calls accurately in the EMR.
Schedule patient appointments for visits, procedures, tests, referrals, and consultations.
Register patients by confirming and updating all required demographic data in the registration system.
Obtain copies of insurance cards and forms of ID and manage insurance coordination of benefits.
