Intermountain Health is seeking a Patient Service Representative to be the first point of contact for patients, providing courteous service and ensuring accurate intake data. The role involves greeting patients, handling registration, and guiding them through the scheduling of visits and tests.

Responsibilities include documenting in the EMR, verifying insurance details, and assisting with forms for billing and regulatory needs, while maintaining patient confidentiality and high service

Formación

• Six months of customer service experience.
• Basic computer skills for word processing and data entry.
• Professional manner and strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to protect privacy and PHI of patients and caregivers.
• Multilingual (preferred).

Responsabilidades

• Greet and check-in/out patients and verify information.
• Document calls and updates in the EMR.
• Schedule appointments for visits, procedures, tests, referrals, and consultations.
• Register patients and verify demographic data and insurance information.
• Assist with forms for regulatory and billing needs and educate patients on financial assistance.
